Seeed Studio Launches Edge AI Development Kit

Seeed Studio has introduced their latest edge AI development kit, powered by the Rockchip RK3588S processor. This single-board computer delivers impressive AI computing power with 6TOPS of INT8 inference performance.

The kit features 8GB of LPDDR4 memory, 32GB eMMC storage, and supports multiple display outputs including HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4. It includes a rich set of interfaces such as USB 3.2, Gigabit Ethernet, M.2 slots, and GPIO headers for connecting peripherals.

One of the standout features is the integrated NPU (Neural Processing Unit), which accelerates AI workloads while maintaining power efficiency. The board runs Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and supports popular AI frameworks out of the box.

Seeed Studio has also developed a range of compatible add-on modules, including camera modules, sensor hats, and wireless connectivity options. The kit comes with comprehensive documentation and tutorials to help developers get started quickly.
