Bosch Sensortec Expands MEMS Portfolio

Bosch Sensortec has expanded its portfolio of MEMS sensors with the introduction of several new products targeting the automotive, consumer, and industrial markets. The new sensors offer improved performance and smaller form factors.

Highlights include the BHI360, a ultra-low-power IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) that combines accelerometer and gyroscope functionality in a single package. With power consumption as low as 0.5mA, it’s ideal for wearables and IoT devices.

The company also introduced the BME688 environmental sensor, which integrates temperature, humidity, pressure, and gas sensing capabilities. This multi-sensor solution enables comprehensive environmental monitoring in smart home and industrial applications.

Bosch’s new sensors feature advanced signal processing algorithms that improve accuracy and reduce noise. The sensors are supported by comprehensive software libraries and development tools, simplifying integration into existing designs.
